Differentiation
I have been studying a fictional student named Lee she is very good at memorizing facts solving math problems and the like, but she struggles with synthesizing her ideas. She has difficulty writing and explaining the facts she has in her head. My class has a lot of group work so many times Lee is perfect for this type of work because she fits into a role inside the group. In addition to a selective grouping I plan on using many thought maps to help her relate certain ideas especially in lessons like the vocabulary lesson.
